Dokune Osana (毒音オサナ)
"Stop, in the name of the law!" - Osana's Catchphrase
Named after the O.S.A. (Online Safety Act) and partially inspired by Koharu from Blue Archive, Dokune Osana is a derivative of Rana, created in response to the growing wave of intrusive online censorship laws introduced by several Western governments. She originated from a thread on the General Discussion board (/g/) posted on May 26, 2025, titled “Net Enshittification General,” where users discussed the declining state of the internet. After someone suggested making a Fanloid to satirize the O.S.A., K.O.S.A., and S.C.R.E.E.N. acts, users quickly began developing what would become Osana: a character designed to embody and mock the hypocrisy of pro-censorship advocates who ultimately fall victim to their own policies.
